Marquis Webb is the Director of the Brothers Who Build (BWB) AAU basketball program and a highly accomplished coach with a distinguished career as both a player and mentor. Currently, he serves as the head coach of the varsity boys’ basketball team at Morristown Beard School in Morristown, New Jersey, where he focuses on developing athletes on and off the court through values like sportsmanship, resilience, and responsibility.
Recognized for his exceptional leadership, Webb was named New Jersey Coach of the Year for the 22-23 season and Morris County Coach of the Year in 24-25. Before joining Morristown Beard, he led Paterson Eastside High School to multiple championships, including the Passaic County, Sectional State, and Group 4 State titles, earning Big North Coach of the Year honors twice.
Webb’s coaching experience extends to the collegiate level, with seven years as an assistant coach at Wagner College and George Mason University, where he contributed to a 24-win season as Director of Player Development. As a player, he was a four-year starter at Rutgers University, amassing over 1,000 career points and earning Defensive All-America honors in 2006. He also played professionally in Hungary, New Zealand, and the NBA Development League.

Chardae Moody aka “Coach Char” A passionate basketball enthusiast who played basketball from youth through college, embodying a lifelong love for the game. Chardae is dedicated to nurturing young athlete’s skills and building their self-confidence. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and resilience, helping players grow both as athletes and individuals. Coach Char strives to create an environment where young athletes can thrive, develop their potential, and carry valuable lessons into their lives beyond basketball.
For 10 years, Coach Williams has been an assistant coach at Newark East Side High School. He has played a key role in helping their basketball team secure multiple county and state championships. He has mentored and developed elite players who have gone on to compete at every collegiate level. He is committed to teaching young athletes essential life skills, guiding them through challenges, and helping them succeed both on and off the court. Above all, he instills the values of brotherhood and family, ensuring that every player understands the importance of teamwork, respect, and unity.
